May 21—On the news that 1.5 million have tested positive for COVID-19: “So when we have a lot of cases, I don’t look at that as a bad thing. April 23—On killing the (COVID-19) virus: “Suppose that we hit the body with a tremendous, whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light.”

He later added “And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?

April 14—How hard it is on him to be president: “I have been brutalized for the last four years. I used to do well, before I decided to run for politics. But I guess I’m doing OK, because, to the best of my knowledge, I’m the president of the United States, despite the things that are said.”

April 14—On the “New York Times,” probably the most prestigious newspaper in the world: “It’s a fake newspaper, and they write fake stories.”

And we have certainly some very big samples of people. If you look at the people, there are a lot of people that are in big trouble. . . . Let’s see what happens. We have nothing to lose. You know the expression: ‘What the hell do you have to lose?’”
