Lancaster BLVD Market will return this spring

Beginning in 2011, the city of Lancaster, in partnership with Raw Inspiration, Inc., has hosted a weekly farmers market. In order to continue to bring a first class experience to Lancaster residents, businesses, and visitors, The BLVD Market is taking a short break to allow stakeholders to brainstorm and incorporate new ideas to reinvent The BLVD Market on Thursdays. The Market will return in April 2020.

The city of Lancaster and Raw Inspiration, Inc. along with The BLVD Association, are dedicated to creating a healthier community by attracting Southern California farmers and other small food businesses to the City.

In 2019, local businesses, including Rio Brazilian Grill, partnered with The BLVD Association to bring two very successful mini-events to the Market, featuring taco and barbeque tasting festivals. Attendees flooded The BLVD to sample the variety of tacos and barbeque on display, enjoying the added bonus of being able to purchase their groceries while there.

The city plans to continue to bring exciting offerings to The BLVD each week, including a variety of mini-festivals, themed days such as Cinco de Mayo, and much more. City officials say building the Market is a way to strengthen community relationships and provide the community with healthy alternatives and memorable experiences.
