The public is invited to attend the Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library “Half-Price Huge Book Sale” event at the Valencia Library on Saturday, Aug. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Visitors will have an opportunity to discover some great summer reads at a bargain price. The sale will take place inside the Community Room of the Valencia Library, 23743 W. Valencia Blvd. Proceeds from the book sales will be used to support programming for the Santa Clarita Public Library. No reservations are required to attend.
Those attending the bag sale are asked to bring their own bag for shopping. Opportunities to volunteer are also available; more information can be found at SantaClaritaVolunteers.com.
The Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library support the library through advocacy, volunteer service, supplemental funding and fostering a close relationship between the library and the community. All proceeds from three bookstores and fundraising efforts support programming for the Santa Clarita Public Library.
