Best Start Broadway-Manchester hosted recently a “Winter Wonderland: Resource Fair and Toy Giveaway”, a family-friendly holiday celebration that provided a safe environment for families and children at Green Meadows Recreation Center.
The event featured entertainment and activities for all ages that included snow, the Grinch, games, raffles, Tommy The Clown, a video game truck, Zumba, yoga, informational booths, DJ, free food, and more!
Best Start Broadway-Manchester and Green Meadows Recreation Center partnered to create “Winter Wonderland: Resource Fair and Toy Giveaway” to provide resources, a tree planting activity, and a fun space to encourage quality time among families. The tree planting activity was a product of a CAL FIRE Urban and Community Forestry Program Grant awarded to the city of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks and aligns with Best Start Broadway-Manchester’s mission to improve the community.
