A 60-year-old woman struck and killed by a hit-and-run motorist in the early morning hours Monday in Watts was identified by the coroner’s office.
She was Sabrina Williams, of Los Angeles, coroner’s Lt. Larry Dietz said.
The woman was walking south about 2:05 a.m. on Success Avenue near Imperial Highway, when she was struck by the motorist, Officer Jeff Lee of the LAPD’s Media Relations Section said.
The woman now identified as Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police had no description of the suspect or the vehicle, Lee said.
Officers asked anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call the LAPD’s South Traffic Division at (323) 421-2577.
