Police were looking today for three masked robbers who held up a grocery store near the USC campus.
The robbery was reported around 10 p.m. Monday at Smart and Final at 3607 S. Vermont Avenue.
Three men entered the store wearing “scary Halloween” masks, at least one of them armed, said Sgt. V. Salguero of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Southwest Station.
The robbers took an undisclosed amount of cash and left on foot but police believe there may have been a getaway vehicle nearby, Salguero said.
No one was injured in the robbery.
