The First Annual Community Health, Wellness, and Resource Fair was held at Dorsey High School this past Saturday.  The purpose of the event was to bring health awareness to students and the community.

The event featured vendors from the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, the Aids Healthcare Foundation, the Sickle Cell Disease Foundation of California, and provided vital information for other health services.  Community members were able to take cholesterol, diabetes, and STD exams at the fair, and there were exercise classes such as Zumba and spin cycle.

The students of Dorsey received support from community organizations, such as Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Beta Psi Lambda Chapter, and the Inglewood Pacific Chapter of The Links.
