The Santa Clarita WorkSource Center is hosting a recruitment event today from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to identify qualified candidates to fill full-time Santa Clarita-based positions. The event will be held at College of the Canyons in Suite 250 at the University Center, located at 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road. All job seekers are encouraged to arrive on or before 10 a.m., allowing time to park and sign-in.
The recruitment will provide information about employment opportunities available through PrideStaff, a staffing company dedicated to finding quality employees for a range of employers. Positions are immediately available with a local Santa Clarita company, including full-time packers and assemblers with three to five month assignments and a pay rate of $8.50 per hour. Job seekers must have recent packing experience, be able to read packages and labels, have excellent hand-eye coordination, and a high attention to detail with math and counting skills.
Interested applicants should bring a copy of their resume as well as a state issued ID, such as a driver’s license and social security card or passport. Onsite interviews, background checks, and drug screenings may be conducted for applicants who best meet the qualifications of the employer.
