TORRANCE, Calif. — The Torrance Police Department announced today that it has three suspects in custody who are believed to have been involved in credit card fraud victimizing 37 people from San Diego to Simi Valley.

The investigation began on Sept. 17, after a Torrance resident living in the 17500 block of Emanita Avenue was fraudulently billed for a delivery  to a FedEx office at 21023 Hawthorne Boulevard.

Surveillance video allegedly showed a suspect picking up a package.

Later Torrance police detectives learned of another such delivery. One suspect was apprehended after detectives conducted surveillance in Torrance and Los Angeles.

Detectives subsequently learned that two other suspects were allegedly involved.

Those arrested include Nathan Paul Pelletier of Santa Monica, who was allegedly a runner for Arseniy Vitaly Dubnyakov of Playa del Rey. Michael Paul Trenkner of Redondo Beach was employed as a driver, police said.

Thousands of dollars worth of upper end electronics, shoes, designer clothes and cash advances have been taken.

Anyone with information was asked to call (310) 328-3456.
