The Legacy Ladies will hold its 9th Annual Torch Awards on Saturday, March 30, 2013, to honor some of today’s distinguished legends, to announce this year’s Adopt-A-Partnership and to award scholarships to the most deserving participants of “From The School House to The White House Leadership Program.”
The event will be held in the Beverly Hills Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton at 9876 Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills. The reception is at 5 p.m. with dinner and program beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets costs are $250 per individual and $2,500 for tables. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
Proceeds will benefit the scholarship program and educational initiatives of Legacy Ladies Inc., which continues to be the premiere organization serving as a catalyst for change, improving the quality of life, and empowering disadvantaged communities through education and other resources.
The “From the School House to the White House Leadership Program” serves to transform lives through leadership, prepare young ladies from Crenshaw and Washington Preparatory High Schools for the challenges that lie ahead of them, empower the with education and guidance while providing financial assistance to fulfill their dreams of attending college.
