Drew University of Medicine and Science, the Vermont Village Community Development Corp., Heritage Education Group and Crenshaw Christian Center watch as the ribbon is cut for the grand opening of a weekly full-service farmer’s market on the grounds of Crenshaw Christian Center at 7901 South Vermont Ave. The ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on Friday included free food for the first 200 shoppers, flu shots by Walgreens, diabetes screenings and HIV testing.
