The Ivory Coast U.S. Ambassador Daouda Diabate will host a delegation of senior cabinet ministers and business leaders from the Ivory Coast in Los Angeles for the first Ivory Coast in L.A. Business Conference and Expo July 6-8 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. With the theme “Discovering the Potential of the Ivory Coast,” the event is presented by the Greater Los Angeles Ivorian American Chamber of Commerce (GLACIACC) and aims to promote the country’s opportunities in the areas of agribusiness, industry, infrastructures, housing, trade, tourism, transportation, mining, oil, and gas. Los Angeles host committee members include state Sen. Curren Price, Claude N. Zaho, Ph.D., president of the GLACIACC, and Gary L. Toebben, president and CEO, Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. The conference will include networking opportunities and informational sessions on Ivory Coast business opportunities and services.
