The Washington Preparatory High School jazz combo will open up for the Jeff Lorber Fusion band during a free community concert Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza.
The performance is part of a series of free events leading up to the 34th annual Playboy Jazz Festival. Washington’s music program and the combo has been operating at the school since 1999.
