Create your vision book

This week’s Ultimate Transformation Moment is about staying on task. One great tool to assist you in this endeavor is the creation of a vision book. This is a tool that I suggest my clients use to help them stay focused on their own personal vision.

The vision you have for yourself may be one of physical health and wellness, spiritual and or, mental health, relationships, or individual desires. The vision book tool is used to help focus your thoughts on whatever you want to attain in this life.

Many have heard of a vision board, which is placing pictures of things that you desire on a presentation board. The board is placed in a location where you can see it regularly. The purpose of the board is to help you consciously bring those items into your own spiritual, physical and mental life.

The vision book takes this practice a step further. These same pictures are placed inside of a notebook, or journal. I suggest that you also use this journal space as a place where you can write your prayers or your affirmations, and your ideas. You may read something and find it interesting.

You can either write that down in the vision book, or the page number and a reference so you can go back to it, because it was particularly inspiring or uplifting.

The vision book is a tool to help you stay on course with the vision that you have for your own personal life, because we are what we think. So, when you can constantly visualize and see yourself possessing the things that you desire in all phases of life, (health, love, peace, prosperity) those things begin to materialize in your life.

All you need to do is go out and purchase a journal, or a notebook, something that you can keep that’s sturdy. You can create this book from materials you have in your home if you’d like. Begin by writing your desires in it or cutting out pictures and pasting them on the pages of the book. The order of the items listed is not important.

Then, keep the vision book with you throughout your day. In order to reinforce these positive ideas, look through the book regularly. Read your affirmations. Focus on the things that you desire. Focus on what you want, not on what you don’t want. Know that you receive what you think about most.

So, here’s a tool for your ultimate success: a vision book. Create one today and focus your thoughts and energy.

That’s our Ultimate Transformations Moment. Peace and be more.
