How to re-calibrate after 21 days

After reading “21 Days to Ultimate Health and Wellness,” quite a few people have approached me with questions regarding re-calibration at the end of a 21-day commitment. They want to know what re-calibration is all about.

First, once you have committed to 21 days of consistently doing something, you have created a new habit. The new habit should be in alignment with the person you want to be. The person you want to become reflects the image of the person who you want to fall in love with.

Once you reach the end of the 21-day commitment, it’s very important to seriously focus and take yourself through a thorough assessment. For example, if you want to begin to exercise by walking for 30 minutes, three times a week, make sure to review how well you do each time out.

Your self-assessment will take a look at the benefits of your successful commitment. It’s also important to go within and review just how you benefited from the workout.

Assess yourself from a personal standpoint as well, then decide what to do next. Instead of working out for 30 minutes, you may decide to walk 45 minutes, three times a week, and that you are going to begin that commitment the following day. I’m using exercise as an example of your commitment, but it may be a commitment that is made in any part of your life where you assess that you need to replace an old habit with a newly established habit.

It is important to go within for these answers, and not go outside of yourself. It reinforces the fact that you are the authority on what’s good for you.

Now that you have re-calibrated and re-assessed, you are truly on the path to ultimate health and wellness. So, when you commit and do the work, make sure that at the end of your 21-day cycle you celebrate your success by going within, establishing what you want to achieve on top of this, and then recommit and do it again.

This is the process to control and master your own personal life. Blessings follow you as an individual, as a family, and as a community. Then the world is a better place.

That’s our Ultimate Transformations Moment. Peace and be more.
