Transform your beliefs

This week, in our Ultimate Transformation Moment, we take a close look at the process by which we develop our current beliefs. How do we train our subconscious to create our conscious transformation?

Our conscious existence is based on our deeply rooted beliefs. Belief is the foundation on which we create our own personal reality. It is what we believe in most that dictates how we act and what we expect out of our lives. So, with the understanding that our beliefs are vitally important, we should make a commitment to take time out in our day to sit and commune with ourselves and look at the areas of our life we want to improve. Take time to analyze your beliefs in that area.

Here’s an example: current financial condition. Say for instance, you have a current belief that the only way you can make money is to work really hard. Well, that’s your current condition, which will continue to ring true. The only way you will make money is that you are going to have to work really hard.

Upon reflection, it may be a great idea to change your belief to fit a more positive scenario. For instance, create another scenario or way to express this area of your life that’s more positive, or easier. Then you might say to yourself, money is always free flowing to me. Money comes to me very easily. Repeat this idea over and over, and you’ll begin to develop a new belief in regard to this area of your life. Your new belief will create a new reality.

When you begin to analyze any area of your life, think back to things your parents taught you, things you learned as a child, and the things you learned through past experiences. |

Right now one of the areas that I would love for you to really analyze is media sources.

We mistake a lot of the information we receive from the various media sources–radio, television, internet, print–as being real. However, we have to realize that while the information, or image may be someone else’s reality, it does not need to be your reality.

Reality television is someone else’s reality. Analyze the information you receive from outside sources, and see where in your life these things maybe affecting you. If the impact is a negative one, then rewrite it. Literally, write it down in a different way that’s more in tune with what you want to be, or what you want to experience. Repetitively embed that new idea. Through repetition, you will develop a new belief, and through this new belief you will create a new reality.

Make a conscious transformation by letting go of old, negative beliefs. Let’s all start taking moments in our day to analyze areas that we want to improve upon and analyze what our beliefs are in that area. If they’re not in tune with the highest and best goal that we have for ourselves, then let’s rewrite it. Reaffirm the new idea in ourselves through the consistent repetition in our thoughts. Our actions will then produce a new idea and a new reality for ourselves based on our new belief.

That’s our Ultimate Transformations Moment. Peace and be more.
