Los Angeles, CA — Spoken word artists, local authors, storytellers, a farmer’s market, celebrity chef cooking demonstrations, a movie screening and theatrical performances are just a few of the sites and sounds visitors to the Leimert Park Village Book Fair can experience during this free event June 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The fair will also feature four stages with author panels and special guest speakers; three stages with live music, poetry, readings and an open mic session; writing workshops and panel discussions, as well as interactive activities and hands-on projects for children.
Among the authors who will participate are May May Ali and Howard Bingham.
