Sufficiency of school textbooks probed

The public, including parents, students, community members, teachers and school administrators, is invited to comment at a public hearing on a Los Angeles Board of Education resolution regarding the sufficiency of textbooks and/or instructional materials at schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD).
The hearing is scheduled to take place 4 – 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at the Los Angeles Board of Education meeting, where the resolution will be received. The meeting will be held at the LAUSD headquarters, 333 S. Beaudry Ave., First Floor, in the Board Room.
