The National Urban League/ Walgreens Bus Health Fair will take place on Sunday, March 30, 2008. The public can be checked for high cholesterol, glucose, bone density, blood pressure, body mass index, waist circumference, and more. The screenings are free of charge and everyone is welcome.
The Health Fair Bus will be parked at the temporary home of Second Baptist Church from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 400 W. Florence Ave. in Inglewood, CA 90301.
The historical Second Baptist Church is currently undergoing restorations and renovations which are anticipated to be completed by Fall 2008.
