Ike Turner autopsy revealed overdose

According to the San Diego County medical examiner, rock-and-roll pioneer Ike Turner died from a cocaine overdose.
Turner, 76, was found dead on December 12 at his home in San Marcos in San Diego County.
Turner reportedly had a cocaine addiction stretching back more than 30 years.
Turner rose to fame as part of the R&B duo the Ike and Tina Turner Revue. Turner and his wife, Tina, had a tempestuous relationship that ended when the couple broke up in 1975.
“Tina and me, we had our fights, but we ain’t had no more fights than anybody else,” Turner once said.
Turner won a Grammy for best blues album for his 2006 release, ‘Risin’ with the Blues.’
Ike and Tina were inducted into the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame in 1991.
