For Antelope Valley residents that are looking for an opportunity to artistically express themselves, Bravery Brewing, 42705 8th St. in Lancaster, will be hosting a Paint and Sip tomorrow from 3 to 5 p.m. .

The Antelope Valley Audubon Society has partnered with Bravery Brewing to raise awareness about the work that the society does around conservation efforts and education around local wildlife, specifically bird species. The hope is that the paint and sip will help peak local interest in the wildlife flora and fauna that the Audubon Society showcases.

Audubon societies are environmental organizations dedicated to the conservation of birds  and their habitats. The Antelope Valley Audubon Society’s goal is to spread awareness and foster environmental conservation practices for birds and their habitats. The theme of the paint and sip will be birds and beer.

Local artist Jenni Wiliams will be guiding the course for beginners and those looking to enjoy the benefits of the course. Williams will instruct attendees on how to paint a raven, which is the most commonly found bird in the Antelope Valley. In addition to the art, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a cold brew of choice. The cost of the course is $30. All paint supplies will be provided with the purchase of a ticket. Beverage purchases are separate from ticket prices.
