The City of Lancaster has announced the addition of new police vehicles equipped with state-of-the-art technology aimed at enhancing public safety. The 2023 Dodge Durango pursuit vehicles with added features of BluePRINT Sync will provide an advanced warning system and synced coordination between vehicles, enabling officers to respond quickly, safely, and more efficiently.

“We are committed to providing the highest level of safety day and night. The investment in these new vehicles will provide our officers with the necessary technology to implement safety while on duty,” said Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris. “We are excited for the upgrades and equipment our officers will utilize as part of our public safety initiatives.”

BluePRINT Sync by SoundOff Signal is designed with functionality and safety as a priority, providing safer and calmer flashing lights for visual communication. BluePRINT Sync technology features the ability to synchronize the flash pattern with all surrounding vehicles to limit blinding glare and disorientation on scene. The benefits of synchronization will enhance and unify the appearance of law enforcement and visual communication in times of emergency.

“The new Dodge vehicles are a representation and commitment to embracing state-of-the-art technology and improving the lives of our residents and public safety,” said Lancaster Chief of Police, Rodrick Armalin.
