Apply by March 31

The City of Palmdale has announced a collaboration with The Wellbeing Lab to introduce the third cohort of the Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology (CAPP) program. Applications are open through March 31, offering residents a unique opportunity to enhance their well-being and personal growth, and scholarships are available.

CAPP is a program specifically designed for community and nonprofit leaders, business professionals, school officials, healthcare practitioners, and individuals passionate about the region’s well-being. This comprehensive program provides a blend of personal and professional development to enhance confidence and motivation and equip participants with the tools to amplify their impact in their respective fields.

“We are thrilled to continue to offer the CAPP program to our residents,” said Palmdale Mayor Austin Bishop. “This initiative aligns perfectly with our goal of fostering a culture of well-being and resilience in Palmdale. I encourage all residents, whether business leaders, educators, health professionals, or concerned citizens, to consider a certificate in applied positive psychology.”

Participants are encouraged to approach the experience with openness, curiosity, and a commitment to growth. The program consists of pre-work, live training classes (one and a half days per month), virtual coaching sessions (weekly on Wednesday evenings), and pay-it-forward challenges, where participants apply what they have learned and share it with the community.
