Will perform on March 15
Rabbi David Baron, founding rabbi of the Beverly Hills Temple of the Arts at the Saban Theatre, will welcome on Friday, March 15 Dr. Michael J. Fisher, senior pastor of Compton’s Greater Zion Church, as well has his congregation and the 35-member award-winning Voices of Destiny Gospel Choir, to participate in the temple’s Shared Heritage of Freedom Shabbat Service.
The Voices of Destiny Choir is led by Brother Tim Davis.
The concert will begin at 8 p.m. Cantor Ilysia J. Pierce will be honored that evening in observance of her 25th year serving as cantor of the temple.
