Saturday at West LA College
Students in grades eight to 12 are invited to join other motivated, determined, college-bound youth on a journey to becoming college-ready at the 100 Black Men of Los Angeles 37th annual Young Black Scholars (YBS) Academic Kickoff and College Fair from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16 at West Los Angeles College.
This event provides an opportunity for new and returning scholars and parents (or guardians) to learn more about the YBS program. Participants are given an overview of the YBS 2023-2024 academic year with motivational speakers, alumni, student and parent workshops followed by a college fair.
