Tomorrow in Lancaster
The City of Lancaster has partnered with several organizations to distribute backpacks, health screenings and immunizations. Up to seven locations are holding massive backpack giveaways on July 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The six locations that will give away up to 8,000 backpacks free of charge include:
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.--Sole of the CommUNITY Hub, 1140 Commerce Center Dr. (Sol Plaza Boutique) offering backpacks, dental screenings.
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.--Children’s Center of Antelope Valley HUB, 45111 Fern Ave., backpacks, immunizations.
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.--Race Communications HUB, 44910 27th St. E. (Tierra Bonita Park), backpacks.
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.-- Lancaster Community Center, 44611 Yucca Ave., backpacks.
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.--Penny Lane Centers, 43520 Division St., backpacks.
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.--New vista Middle School, 753 E. Ave K-2, backpacks, back repair.
