As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to stress small businesses, the City of Palmdale will be utilizing funds to extend financial assistance to local businesses through the Small Business Assistance Grant program (SBAG). The funds shall be granted to provide support to businesses for payroll, rent, personal protective equipment, and other costs required to resume or expand business. Applications will be available.

SBAG funding will only be provided in cases where it can be reasonably determined and documented that the business has been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. All grant payments will be made as reimbursements for actual costs.

Businesses are required to apply and provide appropriate documentation to confirm eligibility and to determine grant payment amounts. Applications and requirements can be found at www.cityofpalmdale.org/sba.

The SBAG program will provide grants up to $7,000 to small businesses adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through April 20 or until all funds are granted. Applications can be mailed, or hand delivered to the Economic Development Division at 38250 Sierra Hwy. during regular hours of operation, Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.  Applications will be time stamped and reviewed by staff at time of receipt.
