A man was found shot to death Sunday afternoon in a motel room in the Littlerock area, authorities said.
The incident was reported around 12 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, on the 7200 block of Pearblossom Highway, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
“Deputies from Palmdale Sheriff’s Station responded… regarding a gunshot victim call. When deputies arrived, they found the victim unresponsive and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the location,” the news release states.
The deceased was in his 20s, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, but his name has not yet been released pending next of kin notification,
The crime scene was a room in the Dena Inn Apartment Motel, according to a source at the scene.
“There is no suspect or suspect vehicle information, and there is no additional information available at this time,” the sheriff’s news release states.
