Calling all Lancaster theater buffs: Single show ticket sales for the Lancaster Performing Arts Center’s (LPAC) 2022-2023 season are on sale now.

Don’t miss the one-of-a-kind jazz night opener before diving into a season full of comedy, drama, live music, and spectacular performances. Long-time and new theater fans will find something to love with a playbill packed with acts from around the globe.

On Oct. 8, the first show of the season features the Antelope Valley’s own Lee Matalon as he presents Jazz Horizons, a jazz club experience on LPAC’s main stage. This performance, which features cabaret seating, was fully sold-out in 2021. A limited quantity of wine and appetizer packages will be available. For local jazz enthusiasts, this experience with a local legend is not to be missed.

LPAC’s wide array of musical performances for the season includes nostalgic tributes to timeless musicians like David Bowie, Motown, Johnny Cash, Elton John, and many more.

The live music lineup also features performances from Lonestar, Judy Collins, Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan: Grits & Glamor, and Air Supply.

Traditional theater offerings include GRIMMZ Fairy Tales’  “Rumpelstiltskin” presented by Missoula Children’s Theatre, and “A Christmas Carol” presented by Cedar Street Theatre.

A stellar comedy lineup will have guests literally laughing out loud. LPAC’s comedy nights feature “Saturday Night Live” alumnus Rob Schneider on his “I Have Issues Tour,” the winner of Star Search’s best comedian Lester Barrie with his “Comedy Headliners,” and “FRIENDS! The Musical Parody.”

LPAC will also host a variety of dance-based performances like “The Nutcracker” presented by Antelope Valley Ballet and “Step Afrika!” The season concludes on May 28, 2023 with multiple performances of “Something Rotten,” a Renaissance-based musical comedy presented by Cedar Street Theatre.
