In celebration of Black Business Month, a free webinar to serve all small businesses, wherever they are in their small business journey, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30.

“As your member of Congress, I want to make sure that businesses in our area have what they need to thrive,” Rep. Karen Bass (CA-37) said via email. “We will feature the stories of two small business owners in my district, and resources for business owners and for folks thinking about starting or growing a small business.”

Panelists will include: Ben Raju, district director, US Small Business Administration; Angela Gibson, executive director, Greater LA African American Chamber of Commerce (GLAAACC); Joe Rouzan, executive director, Vermont Slauson Economic Development Corp.; Josaline Cuesta, California program director, Small Business Majority; business owner Greg Dulan of Dulan’s Restaurant; and business owner Sharon Coleman of Coleman Construction.
