These are the candidates the OW is supporting in the upcoming June 7th, 2022 election.

There are more than 400 new voter restriction laws in 49 states around the country. Fortunately, the state of California has no restrictions on voting in free, fair, and safe elections, but it has been reported that there is a record low turnout so far for mail-in ballots throughaout the state.

OurWeekly encourages its readers to vote, plus to go that extra mile in encouraging family and friends to vote in this coming Tuesday’s primary election, which could help determine the future of democracy, hold White supremacists accountable in court, and advocate for the Black agenda.

Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean C. Logan announced that 120 Vote Centers are open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for safe in-person voting, or to return a completed Vote by Mail ballot. All Vote Centers will follow current public health and safety guidelines. A Vote Center has been opened at SoFi Stadium. All LA County registered voters are welcome from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 4 and 5 at the Lower AA Plaza near Entry 7.
