Taste of Inglewood will be enjoyed by local and regional consumers alike this weekend at Market Street between Regent and Hillcrest Streets in Inglewood. The event will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today; from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 11 and 12. Admission is free.

The ultimate goal with the food and vendor fair is advancing unity within the community where cultural differences are the core of its strength.

There will be a beer garden at the intersection of Queen and Market Streets, a wine garden at Nutwood and Market Streets, along with a cigar and hookah lounge at Nutwood Street and La Brea Avenue.

Free public parking will be available at the following locations. Organizers are  encouraging alternative transportation modes (Lyft, Uber or ride sharing)

Additionally, in the Wellness Pavilion at Queen and Market Streets, MLK Community Healthcare will be offering free health screenings, the covid vaccine and the flu vaccine to LA residents. Screenings will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday; and vaccines (make an appointment at https://myturn.ca.gov/) will be offered from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
