Nov. 17 due date for supervisorial districts 1,2 and 3

Residents struggling to pay their mortgage, are invited to attend an upcoming Mortgage Assistance Workshop and to receive our FREE foreclosure prevention counseling.

The Foreclosure Prevention & Mortgage Relief Program has been developed in partnership with the LA County Board of Supervisors; Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS) Center for Economic Recovery; and the Department of Consumer & Business Affairs. This program will provide foreclosure counseling and mortgage relief to L.A. County property owners.

Residents of the City of Los Angeles are not eligible for mortgage relief funding, but this does not exclude those residents from receiving free foreclosure prevention counseling.

If the property owner has experienced financial distress between March 1, 2020 and Dec.r 31, 2021 as a result of COVID-19 and the property is located in a community highly impacted by COVID-19, they should consider applying for mortgage relief.
