Authorities this week identified a man who was fatally shot in Lancaster.

The shooting was reported at 10:28 p.m. Sunday in the 44200 block of Beech Avenue, according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Bryan Anderson, 41, of Quartz Hill, died at the scene, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office reported. Anderson had been shot several times in the upper body, Koerner said.

At press time, no arrests have been reported; no information was available on a suspect.
