Persons visiting Antelope Valley College are required to complete a daily self check-in process. This directive applies to both students and employees.
Both the Lancaster and Palmdale campuses have welcomed back students with the locations open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
As of Aug. 6, three new cases of COVID-19 were identified between the campuses. The number encompasses students, staff, construction workers and vendors.
Antelope Valley College officials stress that the Delta variant of COVID-19 is still dominant. Vaccines continue to be highly effective at preventing hospitalizations and death. They recommend you get vaccinated as soon as possible and continue to wear masks indoors in public settings.
