Los Angeles County has announced an agreement to bring the AirDotShow Live Tour to Lancaster in the fall. This marks the return of a popular aviation event to the Antelope Valley for the first time in two years.

The AirDotShow Live Tour, identified locally as the Los Angeles Air Show,  was originally scheduled to visit six destination cities this year. Under the new agreement, the organization will extend the tour by one week and hosts season finale at Gen. William J. Fox Airfield in Lancaster on Oct. 23-24.

The Air Force Thunderbirds will headline the event that will also feature the F-35 Lightning Drill Team. There will be numerous airshow performers and static displays.

“The return of air shows this spring have been an inspirational and patriotic sign off reopening in communities across America,” said L.A. County Supervisor Kathryn Barger. I’m pleased that our Antelope Valley community, which is so deeply rooted in aviation, will be able to share in this excitement as we return an air show to Fox Airfield this fall.”

The AirDotShow Live Tour provides an in-person experience while allowing a national and global audience an opportunity to virtually attend select destinations  through AirDotShow Livestream.

The 2021 AirDotShow Live Tour will visit seven destinations including Cocoa Beach, Fla.; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Atlanta; Ocean City, Md.; New York, Orlando, Fla., and the season finale in Lancaster.
