Family law cases are some of the most difficult, potentially draining cases because they often involve issues related to the emotional, physical, and financial well-being of children and families right now and in the future. However, a free family law clinic can help.

United for Families (UFF)  is offering free legal counsel during a virtual family law clinic on July 13.  UFF will provide counsel on divorce, legal separation, alimony, paternity, child support, adoption and custody. The event will also offer legal services related to spousal support, guardianship, private adoption, and domestic violence.

Trained professionals will be available to offer specific advice, to help you understand your rights, options, and responsibilities, and identify steps you can take to move forward.

The United for Families pro bono family law project is a collaboration between the Jenesse Center, Levitt Quinn Family Law Center, and area law schools. The Jenesse Center is a nationally recognized non-profit that offers domestic violence intervention and prevention programs.

Organizers said participants must register to attend the virtual legal clinic by calling (323) 299-9496 Ext. 157. Private appointments are available now. Space is limited.
