The NAACP has partnered with various businesses, including Dark & Lovely, Kering, and Vans, to provide undergraduate and graduate scholarships to college-bound students.

More than $800,000 is available across 10 grant programs for students who must apply by June 18. The organization is looking for exceptional students ready to make an impact in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), marketing, communications, the arts, and more.

Applicants must:

  • Be a member of the NAACP. If you are not a member of the NAACP, join today at https://naacp.org/join-naacp/become-member.
  • Be African American or a person of color.
  • Be currently enrolled full-time or accepted to an accredited college or university in the U.S.
  • Be a graduating high school senior, undergraduate student, or graduate student.
  • Possess a grade point average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 system.
  • Demonstrate interest in a relevant field of study where applicable.

The expenses and debt accumulated during college can make it harder for Black graduates to securely step into their future. The NAACP wants to ensure equity in educational opportunity and prepare students for success in school, work, and life.
