The City of Palmdale is partnering with America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) to host a restaurant industry job fair on Wednesday, April 14 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Poncitlán Square, 38315 9th St. East in Palmdale.
Officials want residents to know that Palmdale businesses are hiring. Local restaurants are looking to hire more than 50 people including shift managers, cooks, servers, hosts, cashiers, dishwashers and more. Employers are looking for candidates who meet some or all of the following qualifications: a minimum of one year’s experience, ServSafe certification, high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work weekends.
The job fair is part of the #PalmdaleCares campaign where the City has pledged to help local businesses with hiring and help residents find employment.
