Non-profit organization providing free afterschool programs

Jade Love Kids Foundation is offering a free African-American history after school program for elementary, middle school, and high school students. This online course seeks to introduce students to the concept of analyzing historical issues in African-American history and how black Americans worked towards creating their own history in America.

Emphasis is placed on the African-American experience, the development of African American community institutions, and African American participation in, and impact on, American society and global society.

The program will be four weeks long beginning on Oct. 5. The one-hour classes will be held Mondays through Wednesdays. Visit jadelovekids.org for more information on available dates and times.

Students can also be introduced to the wonderful world of art in a class exploring basic art techniques, the building blocks that will provide a solid foundation for future art lovers and artists. Students will go over age-appropriate vocabulary, guided drawings, and storytelling through art. They will also explore a artists from diverse backgrounds.

Jade Love Kids Foundation is a non profit organization comprised of staff, volunteers, and teachers working towards the enrichment of children. The organization provides programs year round.
