A 19-year-old shot to death in Palmdale was identified this week as a Lancaster resident.
Jason Encinas, who was found dead at the scene, was shot shortly before 3 p.m. May 23 in the 1200 block of Springline Drive, according to Deputy Morgan Arteaga of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau and coroner’s investigator Jerry McKibben.
No suspect information was available.
Footage taken by a videographer at the scene appeared to show a white sedan had crashed head-on into a tree in the front yard of a residence.
