Los Angeles City Councilman Herb Wesson announced that a new COVID-19 testing site is open at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza, at 3650 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Testing is free and available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday to all who sign up at lacovidprod.service-now.com/rrs.

The city of Los Angeles offers free COVID-19 testing to any resident who wants one, regardless of whether they are showing any coronavirus symptoms: Coughing; shortness of breath; difficulty breathing; chills, muscle pain; headache; sore throat; new loss of taste; or new loss of smell.

According to the mayor’s office, the city’s free testing offer extends to any resident of Los Angeles County, but only at the eight testing locations within the city of Los Angeles.

Although anyone can get tested at city locations, priority will still be given to people displaying symptoms and to front-line workers such as health care professionals and first responders.
