One of the newest Los Angeles County COVID-19 testing sites, at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science (CDU) in Willowbrook, is providing access to testing in one of the County’s most under-resourced areas:  the Service Planning Area (SPA) 6 in Watts/Willowbrook.

Testing is available to all residents of L.A. County who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. The site is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days per week at the main entrance to Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, 1731 120th St., Los Angeles.

The site takes walk-ins and drive-ups without appointments. Visitors will receive self-care instructions and a mask if they do not have one.

The CDU testing site is a partnership between CDU, L.A. County Second District Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas, the L.A. County Fire Department, L.A. County Department of Public Health and Martin Luther King Outpatient Center. For information or to make an appointment, register at https://covid19.lacounty.gov/testing/.
