Explore educational employment at Compton College job fair

Compton College is hosting a Job Fair for educators on March 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Library-Student Success Center, located at 1111 E. Artesia Blvd. The Job Fair is free and open to the public.

The event will provide individuals with an opportunity to explore employment opportunities and learn more about Compton College, as well as meet with Compton College administrators and deans. The job fair will also offer free workshops on resume writing and interview skills.

“Compton College is always looking to diversify its faculty, counselors and support staff with top quality, credentialed candidates. Our campus has a variety of job opportunities available,” said Sonia Lopez, Compton Community College District Board of Trustees president. “We have expanded our recruitment efforts in our search for professionals in higher education who want to make a difference in the lives of students served by our district.”

Applications are being accepted for many full-time positions at Compton College, including faculty for the Chemistry; Film/Video; Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC); History, Journalism/English; Political Science; Nursing; and Welding departments.

Applications are also being accepted for counselors in the Extended Opportunity Programs and Services Guided Pathways, and Special Resources Center Guided Pathways departments, as well as for the Associate Dean of Nursing and Police Officer positions.
