Reading and lots of fun at popular ‘Storytime’

The Palmdale City Library, 700 E. Palmdale Blvd., has begun its fall Storytime session running through Saturday, Dec.  21.

Preschool Storytime, for children ages 3 to 5 years, will be held on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. Toddler Storytime, for children ages 12 – 36 months, will be held on Wednesdays with two sessions at 9:15 and 10:15 a.m. Bilingual Storytime, for all ages, will be held on Fridays at 10 a.m.

In addition, Baby Lapsit, for infants through 18 months, will be held on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m.

“Bring your child to Storytime, where we sing, dance, play, and listen to great stories,” said Shay Hawken, library associate. “Children can learn and grow in a comfortable, nurturing environment as they have fun and get those wiggles out!”

The Palmdale City Library is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
