Search for two missing in Palmdale, Lancaster

Authorities asked for the public’s help this week in helping to locate a 63-year-old Palmdale woman who is diabetic, previously suffered a stroke and has not been seen in nearly three weeks.

Chavette Monique Flowers was last seen June 28 at 3 p.m. in the city of Palmdale, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The exact location where she was last seen was not disclosed.

Flowers is Black, 5 feet 3, 180 pounds, with dark brown hair with braids and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, pink shirt and blue jeans, the LASD said.

Also this week, Sheriff’s detectives continued a search for a 64-year-old man suffering from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder who went missing in Lancaster.

Robert “Bobby” McMurray was last seen on Monday in the 400 block of East Lancaster Boulevard, according to Deputy Martin Crowder.

McMurray is Black, 5-feet-5, about 166 pounds, with brown eyes, gray hair and a mustache.
