Ever since the last James Bond (007) said he was stepping down from the role, rumors have been flying about who would be the next Bond.
Parade magazine stated it will be a Black woman. Her name is Lashana Lynch and she is British. She actually won’t be a Bond… she will take over his number – 007 – when he retires in the next movie, which is filming now.
According to Daily Mail, Lynch will not be the new Bond, but a new character that takes over his secret agent number after he leaves MI6. “There is a pivotal scene at the start of the film where M says ‘Come in 007’, and in walks Lashana who is Black, beautiful and a woman,” a source told Daily Mail. “It’s a popcorn-dropping moment,” the insider described.
