The Palmdale Playhouse, 38334 10th St. East in Palmdale, will host a Tri Valley Arts Dance Camp for Young Adults in July. Spots are still available.
This three-week camp will offer a wide-ranging introduction to dance for young adults with little or no dance experience. Students will study classical and contemporary dance forms, including ballet technique, modern, acting through movement, musical theatre dance, hip-hop, and take part in a salsa workshop. Career opportunities, nutrition, and injury prevention will also be discussed. The camp will conclude with a showcase and reception for family and friends.
Sessions will be held Tuesday through Thursday, July 9 through 25 from 2:30 to 8:30 p.m. The fee is discounted to $200 for Palmdale residents and $250 for non-residents.
