Twitter has unveiled its latest diversity report, saying the popular social media outlet will attempt to make its workforce at least 5 percent Black and another 5 percent Latino by the end of this year. The announcement comes on the heels of a new president of “people experience” and head of inclusion. According to TechCrunch, the move was made in order to “unify I&D with critical people functions under one leader who owns the decisions for both.”

Twitter CMO Leslie Berland tweeted today that the firm promoted Dalana Brand to vice president of People Experience and as Head of Diversity and Inclusion. Twitter is now 40.2 percent female, 4.5 percent Black and 3.9 percent Latino, which is reportedly better than last year in terms of diversity.
