City of Palmdale administrative and business offices, the Palmdale Playhouse box office, South Antelope Valley Emergency Services (SAVES) and Palmdale City Library will be closed on Feb. 18 in observance of Presidents Day.

To report emergencies after hours, weekends or on holidays, residents may call (661) 267-5338. Emergencies include sewer overflows, roadway/right of way hazards including downed tree limbs, downed signs and potholes, or broken sprinkler lines in city parks and landscaped areas.

Although the city’s Recreation & Culture offices will be closed, residents may view upcoming programs and register for them online at www.PlayPalmdale.com.

The Joe Davies Heritage Airpark at Palmdale Plant 42, 2001 E. Ave. P, will be open from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. No guided tours will be available.

Tickets for Palmdale Playhouse events may be purchased anytime at www.PalmdalePlayhouse.com.

Parking and administrative citations may be paid online at www.cityofpalmdale.org/Residents/Neighborhood-Services/Parking-Enforcement/Pay-Citation, 24 hours seven days a week.

The Library’s online services will also be available at www.cityofpalmdale.org/library.

Administrative and business offices will reopen Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 7:30 am. SAVES will reopen at 9 a.m. on Feb. 19. Legacy Commons will reopen Feb. 19 at 8 a.m. The Palmdale City Library will reopen at 10 a.m. Feb. 19.

City offices in Lancaster will also be closed and will resume normal hours on Feb. 19. Lancaster City Hall regular business hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.

The Lancaster Maintenance Yard is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Friday. The Lancaster Museum of Art and History operates from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, with extended hours to 8 p.m. on Thursday.
